This coming Sunday is ‘Dating Sunday’, the day that sees activity on dating apps surge, meaning you’ve got the best chance of bagging yourself a date for the new year.
We’re expecting a spike in new singles joining the app and people sparking conversations and organising dates.

When you’re writing your bio, think about things that can spark conversation, such as where you last went on holiday or a funny story.
Take a chance. To make the most of online dating, you need to take a chance both with making the first move and messaging your matches and also by looking beyond your dating preferences. The perfect person may be waiting just outside your set filters.
Be active on a Sunday. Although Dating Sunday is the busiest time for dating apps, Sundays are also the most active day throughout the year. Make the most of the surge in activity and log on between 9pm and 11pm to up your chances of getting a date.
Put your phone down. While dating apps can help you connect with people you may not have met otherwise, the real magic happens in real life. If you like someone, ask them out for a drink.
